Copperfield Park is located just below Oxbow Dam on the Oregon side of the Snake River. It has 62 RV sites with water, electricity, fire pits and picnic tables. There are extra vehicle parking spaces, an RV dump station, handicapped accessible restrooms with showers and a large grassy picnic area adjacent to the Snake River. A public pay phone is available. Visitors to the Sumpter Valley Dredge State Park have 3.5 miles of trails to explore. Amoungst the grails of the dredge tailings, live Canada Geese, several species of ducks, Kingfishers, Cranes and Osprey. Many other types of wildlife are often spotted such as coyotes, fox, and beavers.
