EOVA serves its Membership by targeting the following objectives:

  • Attract overnight visitors to Eastern Oregon by executing region-wide tourism sales, marketing and sustainable destination development programs to position the region as a leisure, events and group travel destination.
  • Provide leadership and coordination for regional visitor industry issues and communications statewide partners.
  • Gather data to educate and inform Sustaining Members, Stakeholder Members, Partners, Industry Leaders and the public on the status of the visitor industry.
  • Work with local tourism partners and government leaders to structure financing and policy plans for EOVA and implementation of those plans.



What is a Sustaining Member?

Sustaining Members are so designated as they provide a level of significant financial commitment necessary to sustain regional operations and programs. Sustaining Members shall be solicited for region-wide engagement and alignment of industry partnerships joining at the $2,000 level.


What is a Stakeholder Member?

Stakeholder Members are any other business, lodging properties, guest ranch, museum, attraction, resort, tourist facility, tour company, activity, individual, partnership or group interested in and allied with the tourism industry, providing support for regional operations and programs who wishes to join at the $300 level. The EOVA Board of Directors are to have four at-large stakeholder positions. All Stakeholder Members are eligible to be voted onto the EOVA Board of Directors for the four at-large positions.

The EOVA Board of Directors consists of all dues-paid sustaining member and duly elected stakeholder members.
