Many employees are promoted because they are technically proficient at their jobs. Learning the basics of employment law and supervisory practices is essential for the successful transition into the supervisory role as well as to protect the company from employment law claims. Over the course of 6 months, attendees will receive information about the basics of supervision and employment laws. During each 2-hour session, attendees will learn about an aspect of supervision and applicable laws. Each session will build on knowledge and skills attained from prior sessions, and useful reference materials and handouts will be provided.

Handout policy: In an effort provide the most useful materials to you with a minimum of paper waste, Technical Assistance will forward via email copies of the PowerPoint presentation and any supplemental or reference materials as a PDF one or two days prior your training event.
